[He puts together a quick travel pack as he waits - the kit, some bottled water, a sketchbook and pen. Never know what you're going to need on the streets of Adstringendum. And he's.... uncharacteristically eager for this little trip.]

[Give or take ten minutes, and Hinata will arive in front of the Clinic. Joutarou will see a young girl wih completely white eyes, as though she were blind, and a rather athelic if slight build.

She'll stop in front of him and give a little bow.]

Hi ... I-I'm Hyuuga Hinata.

Jotaro Kujo. [His voice is flat as he nods in return to the bow, a bit off-hand. If he's displeased to find that his expedition partner is a young girl, he's good at hiding it.

He fishes the PCD from his coat pocket.] We going to need the map?

We just need to find a building, right ? I-I'll guide us.

[Hinata raises her hands in front of her face and forms a seal.]

Byakugan !

[the chakra accumulates around her eyes, making the veins stand out in sharp relief around them and a slight ring appear in her eyes where pupils would be on anyone else.]

[Well, that's very definitely unexpected. Jotaro backs away a little by instinct, though he doesn't call up his Stand so quickly. He studies her with obvious interest.]

That's different. What's it for?

O-Oh, I have a 360 degrees field of vision with a ten kilometers range. It helps for scouting.

Maybe we should look for a building with a garden ? Some space for animals to go outside when they're recovering ?

Useful. [He actually sounds a bit impressed. Little girl with a big power.] Can you see through things too? Someplace with an inner courtyard, that'd be best.

N-No problem !

We should probably start in the part of the city that has running water. It's this way.

[She points in one direction.]

Lead the way.

[He starts walking without hesitation, and because it looks like it can't hurt, he adds:]

Be interesting to see how your technique works.

[Well, it's not very flashy. For quite some time, Hinata simply walks, without even looking around. Then, she suddenly stops and extends her arm.]

We should go south to go around the Temple of Heaven. There's a group of Yodare cats on the north side.

Crazy place... [he mutters instinctively when she mentioned the Temple of Heaven. How do you even get used to something like that?]

That's the drooling toothy kind, right? No point annoying them. [It ma not look flashy, but he's impressed anyway.] Lots of information for you to process...

I-I'm used to it.

[She blinks once, then nods to herself.]

There are some houses over there which have an inner courtyard. There's one left that's unoocupied. It looks to be in good condition, too.

[It's hard not to be curious - she looks too young, and a bit too fragile, to have had much training.]

Let's go, then, have a closer look.

It's a bloddline limit. My whole family has eyes like these.

[As it happens, it's a good two miles before they actually get to the house she mentioned. There are a row of japanese-style houses, wooden, with shouji and low roofs.

Hinata points at the one on the right.]

This one's empty. It has a courtyard inside, and we're in the area with running water. No electricity, though.

[Jotaro walks along, hands in pockets, not really minding the distance except to look around, watchful despite knowing he can't compete with Hinata in that regard. Seeing the Japanese houses, though, his attention turns to them entirely.]

... huh.

[He's not been in Japan in years. It's an interesting sort of flashback.]

Water's more important, anyway... you sure no one lives here? [They're in a surprisingly good start for Adstringendum, after all. He walks up to try the door - sure enough, not locked.]

[Hinata nods, and follows him inside.]

They suddenly appeared maybe a year ago, I think ? I-I wasn't there then.

W_Will it be alright ?

It's nice. [Jotaro always sounds a little surprised when something turns out to be nice. He peeks in, then opens the door fully and lets the sun into the house. There are the expected dust and neglect, but they're minor as the city goes.]

I could stay around here... [he murmurs mostly to himself.] Won't surprise me if some animals live in here already.

A few birds and mice, it seems.

[Hinata then blinks, and releases her Byakugan, the protruding veins disappearing.]

M-Maybe I can help you set it up ?

[By now Jotaro has taken a peek in most of the rooms, and opens one of the sliding doors to look into the inner courtyard. He lingers for a moment with his back to Hinata, lost in private thoughts, and sounds a bit distracted when he speaks.]

Mm. Sure. If you like animals.

I d-do !

[She hasn't moved too far into the house herself, apparently picking up on his mood and not willing to intrude.]

[After a minute, he seems to shake it off, or at least to realize he shouldn't ignore her. He glances back.]

Be good to have you then.

[His words are simple and flatly said, but Jotaro has a way of saying a little and meaning a lot.]
