Fortieth Sunshine [Video Post]

[Hinata is in her bedroom, sitting cross-legged on her bed with a cup of tea, and watching the storm in progress outside. She looks a bit jumpy, not scared, just unsettled when there's lighting and thunder.

She takes a sip of her tea, and sighs.]

I-I hope the animals at the shelter are okay ...

J-Joutarou-san? Do you need help with them?

[Raven is in her own room, sitting on her bed in the exact same posture as Hinata, a mug of tea in hand and a book resting on her lap.]

Shadow certainly doesn't like that kind of weather.

[A little whine can be heard coming from under her cloak tail.]

Poor Shadow. At least he's inside and dry.

[Raven snorts softly.] Yeah. And he would keep me indoors all day if he could. [She lifts her cloak-tail uncovering a little white and grey furball. But another clap of thunder is heard and Shadow quickly moves to hide further under the cloak.] Tch. [Despite her scowl, Raven pulls the kitten into her lap and pets him gently.] ...There, there.

You would? That'd be nice of you, Hinata. It's not so easy for me to take him to Alice's this week.

But you know, I think I'm gonna stay home today if I can. [It'd be nice to have a little time to herself for a change.]
